How to Send Your Data To Us Via FTP
FTP is a convenient, secure way to get your customer files to us without using e-mail and clogging your mailbox (or ours). File transfers are quick and simple. But you need a couple of things.
Once you set up an account with us, we will provide you with a username and password, which gives you access to a secure online transfer area.
From your Web browser
To transfer files using your Web browser, simply click the link below and you will be taken to Spectrum’s secure server:
Once open, you will be prompted to enter your username and password. After entering this information, you will have access to our secure FTP server. To upload your file simply click the upload icon in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. If you have multiple files go ahead and compress (.zip) them before hand as this method only allows 1 file to be transferred at a time.
Prefer an FTP client program?
We recommend these free FTP client programs:
Once you launch your FTP program, enter the address of our FTP site (files.spectrumdata.org), your username, password and the connection type. In a few moments you will be taken to a file transfer screen, where you can upload files. We’ll take it from there.
Please note our server does require a secure connection using SFTP/SSH or FTPS/Implicit SSL.
